Dr. Quarles and pianist Greg Hankins present a powerful program of 20th century works for saxophone and piano at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music’s Edge Hall. The recital will feature the premiere performance of Dr. Quarles’ transcription for soprano saxophone of Mel Bonis’ Sonata for Flute and Piano, alongside the Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Piano by William Albright. This event is free and open to the public.
